Weingut Stigler

is a German winery established in 1881. The estate has been run by Andreas and Regina Stiegler with the help now of their two sons, Maximilliam and Fredreick. It is located in the community of Ihringen, among the hills of Kaiserstuhl, in the German wine-growing region of Baden-Wurttenmberg. A land of great excellence.

  • Volcanic, volcanic loamy, volcanic and calcareous in the hills of Kaiserstuhl
  • Volcanic and loess at Fohrenberg in Kaiserstuhl.
  • Rich in iron, gneiss and pebbles in Freiburg Schloβberg.

Area:
The excellent macro and micro climatic conditions of the vines of this area are reinforced by the presence of the Rhine river, the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains.
The Hollentaller wind blows on Schloβberg, hot air flows come to Oberrotweiler Eichberg from Burgundy.

  • Bubbles: to drink at any time of the day.
  • White: excellent with vegetables, fish and white meat, raw sea, oysters, shellfish, foie gras. Risotto with feather meat, risotto with the goby fish of the lagoon called Ghiozzi Gò.

It shows notes of lemon and salt. The green melon and jasmine introduce beeswax and hydrocarbon.

Inviting it is delicate with hints of green apple, white peach and lemon zest, white flowers and flint.

The mouthfeel is decidedly fresh and dry. Savory and fine with a great expression. On the palate it performs with grace and invites another sip.

Vinification in large wooden barrels.

This classic Pinot Noir from Baden, with  hints of black cherry and currant, is fragrant and seductive.

The palate is harmonious, fresh and persistent. It can be combined with different dishes, but it is pleasant and graceful even simply served "by the glass".

In summer, if the temperature service is slightly cool, its elegance will be underlined.

It goes well with structured dishes of fish, game, lamb, German home cooking.
