Champagne Beurton & Fils

is a maison created in 1893.

The Maison, a prominent wine pressing center in La Valle Marne, was established on the principal values of strength, courage, and determination embodied by Benjamin Beurton's great-grandmother and grandmother.

Winemaker Benjamin Beurton and his wife Katy, through their high environmental values and sustainable viticulture, continue the know-how of their predecessors while maintaining the commitment to the interests of winegrowers.

The place is Cuchery, Vallèe de la Marne, France.

There are hundreds of plots in the districts of Cuchery, Baslieux-sous-Châtillon, Belval, Damery, and Châtillon-sur-Marne, mostly exposed to the south. The municipality of Les Vaches and Les Chappeliers give their names to the two Champagnes 100% Meunier.

40% Pinot Noir - 40% Pinot Meunier - 20% Chardonnay

30% Reserve wine. Vinification in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation – Zero dosage. Calcareous and marly clay soil with southern exposure.

Dominated by aromas of fresh bread and sweets, the wine has summer floral notes, reminiscent of ripe wheat, flax and rapeseed. Part of the scene is punctuated by hints of hazelnuts and candied fruit. Toasted nuances conclude the broad and generous olfactory spectrum.

It exhibits nice acidity and pleasant effervescence while maintaining a streamlined feel. It is round and accessible with flavors of dried and candied fruit along with a toasted finish.

40% Pinot Noir - 40% Pinot Meunier - 20% Chardonnay

30% Reserve wine. Malolactic fermentation and vinification in stainless steel with a dosage of 9 g/l. Calcareous and marly clay soil with southern exposure.

A combination of vigorous and fresh with rich and generous olfactory sensations .Notes of ripe wheat and rapeseed with hints of fresh meringues.

Expressive, fresh and fruity wine with toasted almond hints.

The attack on the palate is structured, frank and generous. Dried fruit precedes notes of "barley sugar" caramel, barley and fresh honey with a spicy finish. It will stand the test of time.

Omelette with mushrooms and chives, roast poultry, cheese soufflé, gougères (cream puffs filled with cheese) and lamb tajine.

80% Pinot noir - 25% Pinot Meunier - 15% Chardonnay

18% red wine from the parcel «Le Folies».

Malolactic fermentation and vinification in stainless steel with a dosage of 9 g/l. Calcareous and marly clay soil with southern exposure.

The wine has a salmon colour with slight coppery reflections.

Candied fruit in a universe dominated by red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries. Shades of fresh citrus.

The palate is tonic and soft, with a strong character. It is a wine of indisputable quality. The fruit is omnipresent, accompanied by floral and spicy flavors, among which we find peony, violet, lavender and rosewood.

Roast rabbit, cherry rabbit, duck breast.

40% Pinot Noir - 40% Chardonnay - 20% Pinot Meunier

Calcareous and marly clay soil with southern exposure. 

Eloquent and varied. Black fruits, strawberry and peach, candied apple and citrus precede honey and dried fruits such as almonds, cashews and hazelnuts. The finish is toasted and peppery.

It is a rich and refreshing wine with a creamy effervescence. It’s both fruity and juicy with a salty touch that’s supported by well integrated fresh acidity.

The black grape variety adds depth to it.

Smoked salmon with pepper, cod fillet in herb crust, low-temperature pork fillet with honey sauce and roast turbot.

The old vineyards come from a single plot named "Les Vaches" planted about 50 years ago.

100% Pinot Meunier

Calcareous and marly clay soil with southern exposure.

It’s seductive and delicate with notes of albedo, mandarin, orange, orange blossom and fresh pink. An iodized spectrum accompanies a register of almond and shortcrust pastry. Specific sensations in a hot year include peach, lime, star anise, quince, licorice, pistachio, and nutmeg. Soft, fresh with creamy effervescence. Exotic fruit leads to excellent persistence. Crunchy with thin acid-sapid vein. Minerality is conferred by the sandy-calcareous soil.

Fresh tuna tartare with mango and red onion, marinated shrimp with orange peel and oil, smoked salmon with Timut pepper, roasted veal fillet, morel cream and tender pumpkin.

Calcareous and marly clay soil with southern exposure

A balanced, saline wine that reflects the terroir.

Citrus and juicy white fruits with pear and kumquat . A licorice finish. Precision and purity.

The wine has a nice refreshing tension, with notes of candied citrus and passion fruit. It's also delicate, crisp, and energetic, and an ambassador of both the grape variety and terroir.

Blue fish, fresh citrus, poultry, mushrooms, and beef carpaccio with citrus.
